AGONGUE PILGRIMAGE 2026 TO HOLD AT CELESTIAL CITY, IMEKO IN A HISTORIC FIRST

The Celestial Church of Christ officially announces that the Annual Agongue Pilgrimage for the year 2026 will hold from Friday, 13th March to Sunday, 15th March 2026.
In a landmark and historic development, the 2026 edition of the pilgrimage will not take place at Agongue in the Republic of Benin, as traditionally observed over the years. Instead, for the first time in the history of the Church, the sacred gathering will be hosted at the Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, Nigeria.
This significant relocation represents a divinely inspired shift and marks a new phase in the spiritual journey of the Celestial Church of Christ worldwide.
The decision underscores the Church’s continuing commitment to spiritual renewal, unity, and growth within the body of Christ.

The three-day pilgrimage is expected to attract worshippers, clergy, and faithful members from across Nigeria and the international community.
Activities lined up for the pilgrimage include revival services, intensive prayer sessions, prophetic ministrations, and soul-lifting worship designed to deepen spiritual consciousness and reinforce Christian values.
The pilgrimage will climax with a grand Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 15th March 2026, at the Basilica, Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State which is recognized as a sacred and symbolic centre of worship for the Celestial Church of Christ worldwide.
The event will be held under the spiritual leadership of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, whose guidance continues to strengthen and unify the global fold of the Church.
All Regional Heads, District Heads, Area Heads, Shepherds, and church leaders across parishes worldwide are hereby directed to take note of this historic development and to mobilise members under their supervision for active participation.
The Church encourages all faithful to prepare spiritually for this significant gathering, which promises to be a moment of renewal, rededication, and divine encounter.
