C.C.C WOMEN FELLOWSHIP’S 14TH CONVENTION ENDS ON HIGH NOTE IN GEORGIA

Four-day gathering celebrates faith, unity and sisterhood as women renew commitment to evangelism

Women of the Celestial Women Bible Study and Prayer Fellowship share a joyful moment during the fellowship’s 14th Year Convention in Douglasville, Georgia.

The 14th Year Convention 2026 of the Women Fellowship, in conjunction with the Celestial Women Bible Study and Prayer Fellowship of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, has ended on a memorable note in Georgia, United States, with participants celebrating four days of spiritual engagement, Christian fellowship, joyful interactions and renewed commitment to the work of evangelism.

Held from Thursday, October 8, to Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Celestial Church of Christ, Christ Gospel Parish, 6218 Hospital Way, Douglasville, Georgia, the convention brought together women united by their faith, their love for the Church and their shared determination to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The convention, which marked the fellowship’s 14th year, was anchored on the theme, “Evangelism: The Heartbeat of God,” with Matthew 28:19–20 and Galatians 3:8 providing its scriptural foundation.

The gathering was not only a celebration of the fellowship’s enduring journey but also a call to action, reminding participants that evangelism remains a central responsibility of every Christian.

Photographs and video footage from the event captured the atmosphere of warmth, solidarity and celebration that defined the gathering, with women dressed in their distinctive white Celestial Church garments and blue sashes sharing joyful moments, exchanging embraces and participating in expressions of worship.

The images offered a glimpse into a convention that combined spiritual purpose with the bonds of friendship and sisterhood that have sustained the fellowship over the years.

Evangelism takes centre stage

At the heart of the convention was the conviction that evangelism is far more than a church activity; it is an expression of God’s love and a fundamental part of the Christian calling.

Drawing from the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19–20, the convention reminded participants of Christ’s command to take the Gospel to all nations, make disciples and teach them to observe His commandments.

The additional reference to Galatians 3:8 reinforced the universal reach of God’s promise and the importance of making the message of salvation accessible to people everywhere.

For the Women Fellowship and the Celestial Women Bible Study and Prayer Fellowship, the theme provided an opportunity to reflect on the role of women in spreading the Gospel through prayer, personal testimony, compassionate service and exemplary Christian living.

The underlying message was clear: evangelism begins with a heart transformed by Christ and finds expression in the way believers relate to others, serve their communities and demonstrate the love of God.

Participants were thus encouraged to see themselves not merely as members of a fellowship but as active ambassadors of Christ, entrusted with the responsibility of bringing hope, encouragement and the message of salvation to a world in need.

Four days of worship, revival and fellowship

The convention opened on Thursday, October 8, with registration and arrival activities from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by an opening service and revival from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The opening programme set the spiritual tone for the gathering, bringing participants together in worship and preparing them for the activities of the following days.

Friday, October 9, featured morning and afternoon sessions, with opportunities for spiritual engagement and interaction. The morning programme ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the afternoon session took place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. An evening revival followed at 8 p.m.

Two participants exchange a warm embrace at the 2026 convention, reflecting the spirit of love and sisterhood that characterised the gathering.

The day’s programme combined spiritual activities with communal meals, creating opportunities for participants to share experiences, build relationships and strengthen their sense of belonging.

The photographs from the convention captured some of this spirit of togetherness. In their coordinated white garments and blue sashes, participants posed for group photographs, smiled warmly and embraced one another in moments that reflected the closeness and affection within the fellowship.

These seemingly simple moments were a powerful reminder that Christian fellowship extends beyond formal worship. It is also nurtured through friendship, mutual encouragement and the willingness to stand together in faith.

Saturday combines recreation with sisterhood

Saturday, October 10, added a lively social dimension to the convention, with activities designed to promote interaction, relaxation and stronger relationships among participants.

The day began with Breakfast with Jesus Christ, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed by a field day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants were expected to wear the fellowship’s T-shirts and face caps for the outing.

After lunch at a buffet restaurant, the women returned for rest ahead of the much-anticipated Ankara Night, scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The field day and Ankara Night provided opportunities for participants to unwind, celebrate their shared identity and create memories outside the formal sessions of the convention.

The cultural dimension of the programme was particularly significant in bringing together Christian women through a shared appreciation of fellowship, tradition and community.

The convention demonstrated that spiritual growth and social interaction need not be separated. Rather, wholesome recreation and meaningful relationships can complement the work of building a stronger Christian community.

Photographs capture the human face of the convention

Beyond the formal programme, the photographs and video footage provided a vivid visual account of the convention’s atmosphere.

One group photograph showed five women standing together in their white Celestial Church garments, their blue sashes creating a coordinated appearance against the convention’s branded backdrop. Their smiles conveyed the joy of reunion and the satisfaction of sharing in a common spiritual experience.

Other photographs captured three women standing closely together, while another showed a warm embrace between two participants. These images offered a more intimate glimpse into the bonds of friendship, affection and mutual support that characterised the gathering.

The video footage further captured moments of animated interaction and expressive worship, with participants raising their hands and engaging enthusiastically in the atmosphere of praise.

Together, the photographs and video illustrated the convention’s human dimension: women coming together not only to study the Word of God and reflect on their Christian responsibilities, but also to encourage one another and celebrate the blessing of belonging to a faith community.

The visual record complemented the convention’s central message by showing how faith, fellowship and shared experiences can strengthen relationships and deepen a collective sense of purpose.

Thanksgiving crowns the convention

The four-day gathering concluded on Sunday, October 11, with a Special Thanksgiving Service scheduled for 10 a.m.

The service provided an opportunity for participants to express gratitude to God for the successful completion of the convention and for sustaining the fellowship through its 14-year journey.

It also offered a fitting occasion to reflect on the lessons of the gathering, celebrate the relationships strengthened during the event and renew commitments to prayer, evangelism and Christian service.

The thanksgiving was a reminder that the true value of a spiritual gathering lies not only in the programmes organised or the memories created, but also in the spiritual renewal and practical commitments that participants carry home.

As the women prepared to return to their respective communities, the convention’s central message remained relevant: the call to evangelism must continue beyond the convention venue and find expression in everyday Christian living.

Fourteen years of faith, commitment and continuity

The 14th anniversary gave the convention an added significance, celebrating the fellowship’s continuity and the relationships that have sustained its mission over the years.

The anniversary message emphasised stability, patience, longevity and the deep bond of a lasting union. These values reflected the importance of remaining committed to a common purpose, even as the fellowship continues to grow and respond to the needs of its members.

The milestone also offered an opportunity to look ahead, encouraging members to strengthen their spiritual foundations, support one another and contribute more actively to the mission of the Celestial Church of Christ.

For a fellowship built around Bible study, prayer and Christian service, the anniversary was both a celebration of the past and a renewed commitment to the future.

A successful gathering with a lasting message

The 2026 convention brought together several essential elements of Christian fellowship: spiritual reflection, revival, communal interaction, cultural celebration and thanksgiving.

Its emphasis on evangelism challenged participants to take the Gospel seriously as a personal and collective responsibility. Its social activities strengthened the bonds of sisterhood, while the closing thanksgiving provided an opportunity to acknowledge God’s faithfulness.

The photographs and video footage further preserved the warmth and celebratory atmosphere of the event, documenting moments of unity, affection and joyful participation that will remain part of the convention’s memories.

Ultimately, the 14th Year Convention of the Women Fellowship and the Celestial Women Bible Study and Prayer Fellowship was a celebration of faith in action. It reaffirmed the importance of women in the life of the Church and the vital role they can play in advancing the Gospel through prayer, service, example and personal outreach.

As the curtains came down on Sunday, October 11, the message of the convention remained unmistakable: evangelism is the heartbeat of God, and every believer has a responsibility to keep that heartbeat alive through a life of faith, love and service.

For the participants, the convention was more than a four-day event. It was an opportunity to renew their spiritual commitment, strengthen cherished relationships and return to their homes and parishes with a deeper appreciation of their calling to serve God and humanity.

The gathering will be remembered as a meaningful celebration of the fellowship’s 14-year journey and a renewed call to make the Gospel the centre of Christian living.
