ADEKANMBI AT 25: A LEGACY THAT LIVES ON
Kayode AjalaCelestial Church celebrates the life and enduring contributions of Most Senior Evangelist Moses Obasa Adekanmbi.
Twenty-five years after his departure from this earthly realm, the life, faith and remarkable contributions of Most Senior Evangelist Moses Obasa Adekanmbi continue to inspire generations of Celestians.
Born on 14th March 1933, the revered servant of God passed on 25th November 2001, leaving behind an enduring legacy of dedicated service, spiritual leadership and commitment to the growth of the Celestial Church of Christ.
As the pioneer Shepherd-in-Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Army Barracks’ Road, Mokola, Ibadan, from 1972, he played a significant role in laying the spiritual foundation of the parish. He also served as Osun State Evangelist from 1991 until his demise in 2001, contributing immensely to the propagation of the gospel and the growth of the Church.
His life exemplified the biblical injunction in 1 Corinthians 15:58, which urges believers to remain steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that their labour is never in vain.
To commemorate his 25th memorial anniversary, the family, in conjunction with the Celestial Church of Christ, Army Barracks’ Road, Mokola, Ibadan, has lined up a four-day programme of remembrance, spiritual revival and legacy-building activities.

As Hebrews 6:10 reminds us, God does not forget the labour of love demonstrated in His name.
Twenty-five years gone, but his footprints remain. His earthly journey has ended, but his legacy of faith and service lives on.
May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Amen.
