C.C.C. IFAKO 1 YOUTH PROTEST: E.M.F. SPEAKS FROM FRANCE – CALLS FOR CALM, DIRECTS MSE AJAO AND AMSE KUTI TO WADE INTO THE MATTER IMMEDIATELY!

Following the protest by youths of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ifako 1 and the subsequent attack on the Shepherd, VSE Wale Sutton, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, has directed International Headquarters Representative and Disciplinary Committee Chairman C.C.C. W/w, Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao and Assistant Most Superior Evangelist J.S. Kuti, to step into the matter and resolve all contentious issues, before his return to the country in August.

An earlier memo authorising the C.C.C. Task Force Corps to ensure the closure of the parish was withdrawn by the Pastor and Spiritual Head, as he appealed for peace and calm.

“The house of God is a house of prayer, a place of peace, refuge and strength for the followers of Christ. We must not allow it to be turned into a place of strife, quarrels, bickering, bitterness, fights and confusion. The Holy Spirit does not thrive amidst confusion. Let all aggrieved parties sheathe their swords and allow peace to reign as two foremost elders and Church clergy have been directed to wade into the crisis, reconcile all warring parties and iron out all differences.“

Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa assured that he would personally monitor the peace and reconciliation process from his present base in France.

“Let us all alow peace to reign,” he concluded.
