VSE OLATOSHO OSHOFFA (T.M.O) DUMPS SUPREME TRANSITIONAL COUNCIL (CST) … States Reasons in Resignation Letter

VSE Olatosho Oshoffa, biological son of the Founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, Prophet Pastor S.B.J. Oshoffa, has resigned from the Supreme Transitional Council (CST), the body overseeing the ongoing unification process of the Church.

The resignation letter, dated January 28, 2026, was addressed to the Coordinator-General of the CST in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, and is with immediate effect.

In his resignation letter, VSE Olatosho Oshoffa said he could no longer align himself with developments within the Council, noting that he was losing focus on what he described as the essential spiritual foundation agreed upon by all parties.

He warned that his continued membership of the CST could be seen as an endorsement of interpretations and amendments to the Church’s Blue Constitution that, according to him, contradict the original teachings and intent of the Founder.

He stressed that the Celestial Church of Christ is a divine institution, revealed and governed by the Holy Spirit, not merely a legal entity. He referenced Article 91 of the CCC Constitution, which affirms that the Church’s name, doctrine, forms of worship, and hymns were revealed by the Holy Spirit, in line with biblical authority.
He further stated that both the written and oral teachings of Prophet Pastor S.B.J. Oshoffa should be treated as binding and authoritative for the Church.

According to him, the decision to resign was taken freely and without any external pressure, with the aim of preserving his inner peace and spiritual harmony.

Having said that, he expressed gratitude to the CST leadership for the opportunity to serve and wished the remaining members success. He also thanked the President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, for his support of the unification process.

He concluded by asking for forgiveness from anyone he may have offended and prayed that the Holy Spirit would continue to reign absolutely in the Celestial Church of Christ.
The development adds a new dimension to the already sensitive unification efforts within the Church and is expected to spark further discussion among leaders and members worldwide.
