REHOBOTH FAMILY CATHEDRAL SET FOR 53RD ADULT HARVEST, UNVEILS ‘KINGDOM HERITAGE’ THEME

The Rehoboth Family International Cathedral (TRFIC), Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State, has announced activities marking its 53rd Adult Harvest Anniversary, with a week-long programme of spiritual revival, community outreach, musical performances and thanksgiving.
The celebration, themed “Kingdom Heritage,” with its scriptural reference in 1 Peter 2:9–10, will climax with a grand Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the church auditorium, No. 1 Church Street, Joyce B, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
The programme is designed to bring members, worshippers, friends and well-wishers together to celebrate God’s faithfulness while reaffirming their spiritual identity and heritage in Christ.
Activities began with a Bible quiz on Monday, October 19, followed by three days of revival meetings from Tuesday, October 20, to Thursday, October 22, all scheduled for 5 p.m. The revival sessions are expected to provide opportunities for prayer, spiritual renewal and deeper reflection on the significance of the harvest theme.
A musical concert is scheduled for Friday, October 23, at 10 p.m., while an environmental sanitation exercise will take place on Saturday, October 24, at 7 a.m., as part of activities leading to the grand thanksgiving service.
The anniversary programme also features several humanitarian and evangelistic initiatives, including a medical outreach, street evangelism, feeding 1,000 less-privileged persons, a primary school outreach and a visit to an orphanage home. These initiatives underscore the church’s commitment to extending Christian love and compassion beyond its congregation.
The celebration will also feature a youth week, a Prophet and Prophetess Vigil, and a Prophet and Prophetess Week, reflecting the church’s emphasis on spiritual development, youth engagement and the nurturing of its prophetic ministry.
Distinguished ministers, choirs to participate

The programme features Most Superior Evangelist J.D. Nunayon, Shepherd in Charge, alongside other ministers, including VSE Dele Afuye, VSE Adedamola Dada, VSE Yomi Oni, VSE Adelegan and AMSE Akin Kilanko, who are listed for various revival sessions.
Musical performances will feature gospel artistes and groups, including JullyFem, Moses Harmony, D’Royals and the host choir, Bilewu Voices, the TRF International Choir. Invited choirs include C. C.C Yẹmẹtu Choir, C.C.C Ayo Ni O Choir and C.C.C Apete Choir.
The cathedral has invited members of the Celestial Church of Christ, other Christian faithful, friends and the general public to participate in the anniversary celebration and join the congregation in offering thanksgiving to Almighty God.
The theme, Kingdom Heritage, draws attention to the biblical identity of believers as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and God’s special people. It calls on Christians to appreciate their place in God’s kingdom and embrace the responsibility of living out their faith through worship, service and compassion.
As the cathedral marks its 53rd Adult Harvest Anniversary, the celebration promises to combine spiritual enrichment with practical expressions of Christian love, culminating in a thanksgiving service dedicated to God’s enduring faithfulness.
