The death has been announced of Venerable Superior Evangelist Samuel Olayiwola Onikute, who joined the saints triumphant on Thursday, 27th August, 2026, at the age of 85.
Venerable Superior Evangelist Samuel Olayiwola Onikute was, until his demise, the Shepherd in Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Great Luli Parish, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos, and the Chairman, Prophets and Prophetesses, Area 1, Alapere District, Lagos.
The deceased would be remembered as a devoted servant of God, a spiritual father, and a pillar of faith whose life impacted many.
Pa Onikute’s legacy of love, discipline, humility, and unwavering faith continues to live on.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Thursday, 1st October, 2026: Wake Keep. Venue: Great Luli Close, off Oyesiku Street, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos. Time: 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm.
Friday, 2nd October, 2026: Funeral Service/Interment. Venue: Great Luli Close, off Oyesiku Street, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos. Time: 10.00 am ‘ 12.00 pm.
Reception follows immediately. Venue: LAWNA Events Centre, the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, LAWNA Headquarters, Olorunda, Ketu, Lagos. Time: 1.00 pm.
