E.M.F. WIELDS THE BIG STICK: Withdraws VSE Michael Odubanjo From C.C.C. Metropolitan Parish, Washington DC, USA / Suspends Clergy Status

Exercising the powers vested in the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide by the C.C.C. Constitution (Blue Book) in section 120, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, has withdrawn the Shepherd in Charge of C.C.C. Metropolitan Parish, Archdiocese, Washington DC, VSE Michael T. Odubanjo.

The clergy status of the erring Shepherd in C.C.C. W/w, was also suspended till further notice.

In a letter dated 22nd March, 2025, with reference number CCC/EMF/ODB-02/MET-US/03-25, addressed to VSE Michael T. Odubanjo, the reasons for the withdrawal and suspension of clergy status were clearly highlighted as follows:

“The foregoing pronouncements are made consequent upon your unbridled insubordination, plus flagrant and repeated violations of my directives.

“In my letter dated 10th February, 2025, with reference number CCC/EMF/PO/ODB-01/MET-US/02-25, I made it clear that, on no account must Venerable Superior Evangelist Michael T. Odubanjo, return to the United States of America and to C.C.C. Metropolitan Parish, Archdiocese, Washington DC, USA, without fulfilling all the immigration requirements to work as a Clergy in the United States of America.

Recent unacceptable developments confirm a flagrant violation of this directive on your part.

“Again, it is unthinkable that you have elevated your insubordination to the level of passing verbal insults on the highly reverred seat, position and office of the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

In conclusion, His Eminence advised VSE Michael T. Odubanjo to return to his base in Italy in his own best interest, while also making it clear that further pastoral directives concerning the erring Shepherd would be issued as situation demands.”
