THE HAASTRUP LEGACY CONTINUES … Parishes Document Total Submission to E.M.F’s Authority

Thirteen years after the departed Doyen of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, late Superior Evangelist Isreal Ademola Haastrup slept in the Lord, a lot of water has passed under the bridge. However, the parishes that he planted before His demise are still flourishing, and this includes parishes located in the United Kingdom.

It is worthy of note that great advancements have been made towards fulfilling the dying wish of the late Doyen as regards his desire that the said parishes must be solely controlled by the apex authority of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, under the leadership of his Eminence Reverend E.M. F Oshoffa., Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C Worldwide.

This wish finally became reality with the collaboration of VSE Samuel Oluwatosin Osodi and VSE Olasunkanmi Gbolahan Oshin, who have worked together, along with parishioners and in line with the UK Charity Commission, to establish a solid foundation for the parishes to build on, concerning taking directives from the office of the Pastor or his designated representative.

The Shepherd of the parish must also have been appointed by the Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C Worldwide, who alone has the sole authority to make such appointment.

This great milestone has come into effect in Celestial Church of Christ, Seventh Year Parishes 1 and 2, with the latter now renamed as Celestial Church of Christ, Grays Parish, in compliance with stipulated U.K. Charity Commission regulations.

Documentation to this effect was officially presented to the Pastor at C.C.C Saint S.B.J Oshoffa Cathedral, International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos, on Friday 12th June 2026, by VSE Samuel Osodi.

Similarly, a letter of appointment has also been issued to VSE Olasunkanmi Gbolahan Oshin, appointing him as the Shepherd in Charge of the parish for a two-year tenure, subject to review.

Present at the presentation were AMSE S.F Adeniyi, VSE Olatosho Oshoffa, VSE Rodrigue Abdon, VSE Samuel Osodi, AVSE Gouan Barthelemy, AVSE Kayode Ajala, Superior Evangelist David Sikpa, and Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa, amongst others.

ADDENDUM: Please note that the Pastor and Spiritual Head, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa has subsequently issued an official declaration to the general public concerning the change of name of the Celestial Church of Christ, Seventh Year Parish 2 to Celestial Church of Christ, Grays Parish.
