M/S/E BOLA ODUPITAN LEAVES THE STAGE AT 94, E.M.F CONDOLES FAMILY
Kayode AjalaThe Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence Rev. Pastor E.M.F. Oshoffa, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family, congregation and loved ones of Most Senior Evangelist Bola Odupitan (JP), who passed on to glory on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026. He was aged 94.
In a condolence message issued following the death of the senior minister, Reverend Pastor E.M.F Oshoffa described the departed M/S/E Odupitan as a devoted servant of God who dedicated many years to the service of the Lord in the Celestial Church of Christ.
“With gratitude to God for a life well spent in His service, but with a heart filled with sorrow and in total submission to the will of the Almighty God, I extend my deepest condolences to the family, congregation and loved ones of our departed father and servant of God, M/S/E Bola Odupitan who joined the saints triumphant at the ripe age of 94,” Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa stated.
He commended M/S/E Odupitan’s contributions to the growth and development of the Celestial Church ofChrist, noting that his fatherly counsel, dedication and service would remain fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
His passing is being mourned by his immediate family, the members of C. C.C Babapalase (Divine Order Cathedral), Lagos, where he served as Life Patron and Shepherd-in-Charge, as well as the wider Celestial Church of Christ family.
While acknowledging the pain of his departure, the Pastor encouraged the bereaved family and congregation to draw comfort from the promises of God, particularly the assurance in Revelations 14:13: “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.”
His Eminence, Reverend Pastor E.M.F Oshoffa urged the family and members of the congregation to preserve and celebrate the legacies of faith, service and love which M/S/E Odupitan leaves behind.
