IMEKO 2026: CONVOCATION COMMITTEE BREAKS NEW GROUND IN UK DIOCESE

History was made at the Celestial Church of Christ, Harton Street Parish, National Headquarters of the UK Diocese, as the Imeko Convocation Committee secured its first-ever formal representation at a joint meeting of the Diocese’s Executive Governing Council and Trustees.
The historic meeting, chaired by His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of CCC Worldwide, provided a unique platform for the Committee to engage directly with the highest governing body of the UK Diocese.
Representing the Committee was its Patron, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Peter Onwodi MPIC, who addressed the august gathering on preparations for the forthcoming Imeko Convocation 2026.
In his address, AVSE Onwodi highlighted the spiritual significance of the annual convocation and passionately appealed to the leadership and members of the UK Diocese to support the forthcoming event through prayers, active participation, financial contributions and other forms of assistance.

He emphasised that the success of the Convocation was a collective responsibility requiring the commitment and cooperation of Celestians across the global Church.
Also present were MC Tutu Olowe, Executive Member of the Imeko Convocation Committee and Special Adviser, and VSE Ebenezer MPIC, Executive Member responsible for Diaspora Affairs.
The landmark engagement represents a significant step towards strengthening ties between the Convocation Committee and the international dioceses, while deepening Diaspora participation in the affairs of the Church’s annual spiritual gathering.
As preparations gather momentum, the Committee is calling on all Celestians worldwide to unite in support of Imeko Convocation 2026, stressing that every prayer, contribution and sacrifice will count towards its success.
Together, let us make Imeko 2026 a glorious success!
