HIGH POWERED DELEGATION FROM E.M.F ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO CARDINAL JAMES OMOLAJA ODUNMBAKU

A high powered delegation from the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, today paid a condolence visit to Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, following the sudden and unexpected passage of his beloved wife, late Mother Celestial Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku on Thursday, 25th June, 2026.

The delegation led by AMSE Afis Kiki was made up of AMSE D. Ogunrombi, AMSE Abayomi Ilori, VSE Olatosho Oshoffa, VSE Elijah Bello, AVSE Kayode Ajala, AVSE Henry Adelakun and Mother Celestial Mojisola Alegbe. Also present were VSE J.O Ogunremi, MC Ronke Ogunremi and Superior Evangelist Emmanuel Bada.

In a touching condolence message delivered by AVSE Kayode Ajala, on behalf of His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, he described the deceased as a “pillar of faith and a beacon of hope and inspiration to many. Her life was a testament of her profound love for God. She worshipped with an unshakeable devotion and commitment to the development of the vineyard of God.”

Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa made it known that the news of her sudden demise was not only shocking and unbelievable, but it was also devastating and destabilising.

As we mourn her passing,” he concluded, “we also celebrate a life well lived. A life dedicated to building God’s kingdom and uplifting His people. Like Paul, she ran her race with endurance (Hebrews 12:1), and has now received the crown of righteousness, which the Lord promised those who love Him (2 Timothy 4:8).

Speaking before the departure of the E.M.F delegation, C.C.C Head of Media and Publicity, AVSE Kayode Ajala had this to say, “Death is a topic that we often avoid, but it is something that we all have to face at some point in our lives. Late Mother Celestial Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku was an active and prominent member of our great church, and her passion for the Lord was always so obvious.

In the light of this, it is easy to conclude in our hearts that she is resting happily and rejoicing in union with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And so, even through all the tears and pain of our irreparable loss, we must find comfort in the knowledge that she is in a better place and watching over us.”
