…Unveils week-long programme themed ‘Divine Restoration’
The Celestial Church of Christ (C.C.C), Akiode Parish, is set to hold its 47th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with a compelling spiritual message of “Divine Restoration,” drawn from Psalm 123:1–3.
The landmark thanksgiving service will take place at the church premises, located at 3–5 Adeniyi Oke Street, off Ishola Bello Street, Akiode, Ojodu, Berger, Lagos, and is expected to attract worshippers, distinguished guests, friends and well-wishers for a memorable celebration of faith, gratitude and divine blessings.
A major highlight of the occasion will be the installation of Venerable Superior Evangelist Toby King, a respected member of the Celestial Church of Christ from the United Kingdom Diocese, as the Church Patron of C.C.C Akiode Cathedral. The installation is expected to add significance to the celebration, bringing together members of the church in recognition of his association with the ministry.
Speaking on the forthcoming event, the Shepherd-in-Charge, Venerable Superior Evangelist Elijah Ogungbemi, disclosed that a series of spiritual and social activities have been lined up for the harvest week, which runs from Monday, October 26, to Sunday, November 1, 2026.
The programme will feature a Women’s Symposium and Lectures, Adena Night, Revival, Special Seekers’ Service, Youth Night, Spiritual Consultation and Counselling, Family and Praise Night, as well as a humanitarian visit to a motherless babies’ home, before culminating in the Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service.
According to the Shepherd-in-Charge, the activities have been designed to deepen spiritual commitment, foster fellowship among members and extend the church’s expression of love and compassion to the wider community.
The harvest celebration will also feature bazaar sales immediately after the thanksgiving service, providing an opportunity for fellowship and support for the church’s activities.
With its rich blend of worship, evangelism, community outreach and thanksgiving, the 47th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service promises to be a spiritually enriching and memorable occasion for all participants.
Worshippers, members of the public and well-wishers are warmly invited to join the congregation in celebrating God’s faithfulness and seeking His restoration in every area of life.
Come and experience Divine Restoration!
