C.C.C WORLDWIDE WARNS TASK FORCE CORPS IMPOSTORS, VOWS SEVERE SANCTIONS

The Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Bilehou Oshoffa, has issued a stern warning against indiscipline, impersonation and the flagrant violation of official directives governing the operations of the Church’s Task Force Corps Worldwide.
The warning follows reports of some individuals parading themselves as Task Force Corps officers, State and Divisional Coordinators without proper appointment, registration or authorisation.
In a pastoral circular dated June 18, 2024, with reference number CCC/EMF/PO/PS/CIR-001/06-24, the Pastor reaffirmed the mandate of the Task Force Corps under the chairmanship of Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Firmin Adjoyi Akinbode, stressing its responsibility to promote discipline, check unethical practices and enforce compliance with the doctrines, tenets and ordinances of the Church.

The directive also mandated the Corps to conduct investigations and disciplinary proceedings independently and report directly to the Pastor.
In another circular dated July 19, 2024, the Pastor specifically warned against impersonation, directing anyone parading himself or herself as a Task Force Corps officer without proper training, registration and authorisation to desist immediately. It further stated that anyone claiming such an office without an appointment letter from the Chairman would be liable for impersonation.
The Pastor subsequently reaffirmed the leadership of AMSE Firmin Adjoyi Akinbode through a directive dated August 27, 2025, formally reappointing him as Chairman of the Task Force Corps Worldwide and outlining his responsibilities, including maintaining orderliness, implementing disciplinary measures, ensuring compliance with Church doctrines and visiting troubled parishes as directed.
Against this background, the Pastor has expressed concern over the continued disregard for these directives by certain individuals and warned that the Church will no longer tolerate self-appointed officers, unauthorised coordinators, parallel structures or the abuse of the Task Force Corps’ name and authority.

All individuals operating outside the officially recognised structure are hereby directed to cease and desist immediately.
The Pastor further warned that anyone found culpable would face severe disciplinary sanctions, including withdrawal of recognition, suspension or removal from office, termination of appointment and, where necessary, referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Heads of Dioceses and Districts, Regional and Area Evangelists, Shepherds and Parish authorities have consequently been urged to ensure strict compliance with the directives and refuse recognition to unauthorised individuals or groups.
The Pastor emphasised that the Task Force Corps is an officially constituted arm of the Church, not a private organisation or platform for personal interests, and must operate strictly under his authority and directives.

The message is unequivocal: impersonation, insubordination and disregard for constituted authority will not be tolerated, and violators will face the full weight of appropriate disciplinary action.
