GOD’S OWN PARISH, UROMI, SET FOR 48TH ADULT HARVEST, UNVEILS ‘SHEKINAH’ THEME

Praise Night Holds Friday as Edo Parish Prepares for Weekend Celebration

Marking nearly five decades of tradition and thanksgiving, the Celestial Church of Christ, God’s Own Parish, Uromi, Edo State, will hold its 48th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, October 11, 2026, with “Shekinah” as its theme.

The thanksgiving service, scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. prompt at the church premises, will bring together members, families, friends, well-wishers and worshippers from within and beyond Uromi for a special celebration of God’s faithfulness.

As part of activities leading up to the harvest, the parish will hold a Praise Night on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the church premises. The evening will feature worship, music and thanksgiving as members prepare for the main harvest service.

With “Shekinah” as its theme, the 48th Adult Harvest will focus on God’s presence and faithfulness, offering worshippers an opportunity to give thanks and reflect on the blessings of the past year.

Members of the public, friends of the parish and the wider Celestial Church family are warmly invited to attend both events.
