WHY PRESIDENT PATRICE TALON WANTS TO UNITE C.C.C. FACTIONS … And More!

Speculations are rife concerning the true motive of President Patrice Talon of the Republic of Benin, for recently convening a meeting of leaders of different factions of the fold in Benin Republic.

The said meeting had in attendance leaders of the Celestial Church of Christ from Nigeria, Republic of Benin and Cote D’Ivoire, including His Eminence, Reverend Pastor, Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa from Nigeria, Reverend Pastor Benneth Akande Adeogun from the Republic of Benin, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Ackah Kouame Justin and Venerable Superior Evangelist Sara Sorro from Cote D’Ivoire, amongst others.

Addressing the meeting, His Excellency, President Patrice Talon of Benin Republic, made it clear that he was driven to seek the overall unity of the fold largely because of the early beginnings and roots of the Celestial Church of Christ in the Republic of Benin. And also because of his strong belief that the fold would fare better globally if her doctrines, tenets and rules are harmonised and practised the same way by the different factions of the fold.

Leaders at the meeting were in total agreement that there is strength in unity and also agreed to work towards strengthening the fold by pursuing unity and harmonisation of its practises, rules and tenets.

The meeting ended on a strong note of optimism with participants determined to pursue unity for the overall good of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. However, it must be highlighted that the status quo remains, as the march towards unity and harmonisation continues.

All activities of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide under the leadership of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C. Worldwide, remain unchanged.

This includes the upcoming Ajase/Agongue Pilgrimage 2025, the 2025 Anointment Exercise scheduled to hold at the Holy Land, Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, the Washing of the Feet and Family Day activities at Klm 53 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the Good Friday and Easter Sunday Services at Makoko and Ketu respectively, the December 2025 Annual Convocation at Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, et al.

It is expected that the participants would meet again to fine-tune strategies and details in the march towards unity and harmonisation.
