VSE FEMI OBIYAN, TASK FORCE S/S AND S/E GENERAL COORDINATOR, SET FOR INSPECTION VISIT … Bans Indiscriminate Laying of Altars in Edo State!

The C.C.C. Task Force Corps General Coordinator for all South South and South East States of Nigeria, Venerable Superior Evangelist Femi Eromosele Gabriel Obiyan, is set to embark on a two-week inspection visit to the S/S and S/E States under his watch.

The visit would span Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 – Monday, 25th November 2025.

In preparation for this inspection visit, C.C.C. Shepherds in the South South and South East States of Nigeria are hereby directed to update their payment records and parish return ledgers, as these records would be thoroughly scrutinised during this visit.

Receipts issued upon payment of monthly returns shall be checked, and the discovery of any act of misappropriation shall attract severe sanctions.

Therefore, you are advised to bring the payment of your monthly returns up to date before the commencement of this inspection visit.

On a similar note, alarmed by the indiscriminate rate at which C.C.C. parishes are springing up in Edo State, in blatant contravention of laid down procedures, the following directives are hereby issued:

  1. The laying of new altars in Benin metropolis is hereby suspended until further notice.
  2. New Altars can only be established in the outskirts of the Benin metropolis or in the rural areas.

The Edo State Task Force Coordinator, Officer Otus Oviawe (General), has been mandated to ensure strict compliance with this directive. Violators would face severe punitive measures.
