RE-DISCLAIMER: SUPERIOR EVANGELIST ABAYOMI BAKARE RECANTS AND APOLOGISES

Following our disclaimer concerning the Facebook video in which Superior Evangelist Abayomi Bakare of Voice of God Cathedral, Itanrin, Ijebu-Ode, called for support and claimed to be the arrowhead of the body responsible for the celebration of the remembrance anniversary of late Reverend, Pastor, Founder S.B.J. Oshoffa, an apology has been issued by the man in the middle of the storm (Superior Evangelist Abayomi Bakare).

In the apology, delivered to C.C.C. Media by the Coordinator of the National Evangelism Council (VSE H.O. Michaels), Superior Evangelist Abayomi Bakare expressed his unreserved apology to His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, All Saints Remembrance Committee Chairman, VSE Abayomi Ilori and indeed all the Elders of our great Church, for whatever embarrassment his utterances in the said video must have caused.

He explained that it was not intentional as he was only chosen by the National Evangelism Council to be the Planning Committee Chairman of the remembrance programme of the late Founder of C.C.C. Worldwide. A role which he also played when the remembrance celebration was held last year.

He concluded by stating categorically that he never intended to impersonate or take the position of the Chairman of the All Saints Remembrance Committee, VSE Abayomi Ilori. And that what happened was just a clear case of being misunderstood as a result of his presentation in the said video.
