President Patrice Talon of the Republic of Benin, in what is considered a bold move, has met with the leaders of the Celestial Church of Christ in Nigeria, Republic of Benin and Cote D’Ivoire, in a bid to iron out differences and bring the different factions within the fold under one umbrella.
The meeting, which was at the instance of the President of the Republic of Benin, President Patrice Talon, took place in Benin Republic and was attended by His Eminence, Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Reverend Pastor Benneth Akande Adeogun and C.C.C. leaders in Cote D’Ivoire, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Ackah Kouame Justin, Head of Ivory Coast and VSE Sara Sorro from Ivory Coast
Speaking at the meeting, the convener, President Patrice Talon, made it clear that he was quite optimistic about the unity of the Celestial Church of Christ and would not relent until this is achieved.
C.C.C. leaders present at the meeting were also in agreement that the unity of the church is important and should be pursued. Before the meeting ended, machinery was set in motion towards achieving this and an agreement reached for similar meetings to be held regularly at dates to be picked and announced later.

This move by the President of Benoist republic, President Patrice Talon is highly commendable and laudable and the whole Celestial Church of Christ family worldwide will extremely happy for this.
2. My request from the President Patrice Talon is to help the church to grade the roads that leads to Agongue especially during this dry season so as to have a free and easy passage to the holy land which will turn out to be a TOURIST CENTRE to the country Benin republic and can yield greater dividend to the country in future.
