LEGAL NOTICE – 2025 CYBERCRIMES ACT NOW IN FORCE … Plus FG Shuts Down Over 13 Million Social Media Accounts for Offensive Contents!!!

The 2025 Cybercrimes Act is now in force!
We find it necessary to bring this to the notice of members of our fold because our church, the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, has the largest presence on social media and this includes Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and WhatsApp, amongst others.
This large presence on social media would have transformed into positive power in the hands of C.C.C. W/w, if only our members use their social media handles and platforms to promote the name, image and legacies handed down by our founding father, Saint S.B.J Oshoffa. If that was the case, we would have been atop the ladder amongst the comity of churches worldwide.
But nay! What we see on a daily basis is the practise where members of the fold wash their dirty linens in public, attack, defame and deride personalities including church members and leaders, through their social media handles.
This practice is highly reprehensible!
We therefore sound this note of warning to guide church members and prevent them from digging their own graves through misguided, unprofessional and reckless use of the social media.
Presently, a blogger, notorious for using his platform to cyber bully, cyber stalk, attack, deride and defame members and even the leadership of the church, is cooling his heels at the Ikoyi Prisons.
He was arrested, dragged to the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, and remanded in prison after serially cyber stalking and cyber bullying a USA based Mother Celestial of C.C.C. W/w. If the law takes its full course on this particular blogger, he might end up in jail for reckless use of the internet.
The foregoing is the reason why we sound this note of warning and caution. Use your social media handles and platforms wisely. The social media was created to add value to positive interactions amongst humanity. Not to attack, pull down and destroy fellow human beings.
Be informed that the C.C.C. administration would not stand in the way of the law if any member of the fold violates the law of the land.He who has ears, let him hear…To be forewarned is to be forearmed!
