Late Most Superior Evangelist Amadasu Laid to Rest Amid Tributes of Honour and Legacy

The atmosphere was reverent yet filled with gratitude as the remains of Late Most Superior Evangelist Amadasu were laid to rest on Thursday, 20 February 2026, marking the close of a distinguished era of service within the Church.
Renowned as one of the most devoted Shepherds in the fold, Most Superior Evangelist Amadasu dedicated decades of unwavering commitment to strengthening the Church’s structure and advancing its mission across the South-East and Eastern regions of Nigeria. His transition signifies the conclusion of a profound chapter defined by sacrifice, discipline, and steadfast spiritual leadership.

During his tenure as Pastoral Adviser, he earned widespread respect for his sound judgment, administrative acumen, and loyalty to divine principles. Colleagues and members alike described him as a unifying force — a peace advocate who consistently championed reconciliation, harmony, and strict adherence to God’s guidance in all church affairs.

In moments of internal trials and uncertainty, he remained composed and resolute, offering counsel that restored clarity and prayers that brought reassurance. Many within the Church attest that his leadership style inspired confidence and reinforced faith during critical periods.

Clergy, congregants, family members, and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to honour a life wholly devoted to God’s vineyard. Though his earthly presence has departed, his enduring legacy of faith, order, and sacrificial service continues to resonate strongly within the Church community.

Indeed, he fought a good fight, completed his course, and upheld the faith to the very end.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
