E.M.F. WARNS C.C.C. PARISHES ON NOISE POLLUTION…As Government Begins Massive Clampdown on Churches, Others.

The Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, has issued a stern warning to all Celestial Church of Christ Parishes located within the Lagos Metropolis, to reduce the cacophony of noise emanating from parish events and activities, as the Lagos State Government has began a massive clampdown on churches and other institutions, in the state, as a result of noise pollution.

Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, who is presently on a pastoral working tour of Europe, stated that such parish activities include but are not limited to Vigils, Midweek Services, Glorious Sunday services, Musical Nights, Crusades, Street Evangelism, Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Services and Celebrations, amongst others.

His Eminence stated that he is aware that a Celestial Church of Christ Parish was recently shut down in the Lagos Metropolis for this violation but has since been reopened.

He particularly warned Shepherds and Parochial Committees of parishes to comply with the noise pollution law in Lagos State by reducing the noise generated from the use of loudspeakers, musical instruments and power generators, during Church Services and events.

The Global Leader of the world’s largest white garment church appealed to C.C.C. faithfuls to help spread this message, as C.C.C. authority would also be averse to violators, AFTER THE ISSUANCE OF THIS PASTORAL WARNING.
