E.M.F. SENDS DELEGATION TO COMMISERATE WITH THE FAMILY OF LATE SUPERIOR EVANGELIST PIUS OLAREWAJU

The Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, has sent a high powered delegation to commiserate with the family of late Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju, who transited to higher glory on Monday, 12th January 2026.

The delegation was led by International Headquarters Representative, Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, in the company of Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde (International Headquarters Representative), Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Olusiji Olajide (Secretary, Clergy Council), Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F Adeniyi (Head of Administration, C.C.C Worldwide), Superior Evangelist Bankole Agunsoye (Member, Pastor in Council, C.C.C Worldwide) and Superior Evangelist Henry Adelakun (Member, Pastor in Council, C.C.C Worldwide).

Delegation was received by the Shepherd in Charge, C.C.C. Omo Alade Alafia Parish, Lagos, Venerable Superior Evangelist Noah Tampinu, and notable members of the deceased’s family.

Expressing Reverend Pastor E.M.F Oshoffa’s sense of profound personal loss over the sad and sudden demise of Superior Evangelist Pius Ige Olarewaju, the leader of the delegation Most Superior Evangelist M.O Ajao, commiserated with the widow and family members.

“This is an irreparable loss not only for the family but also for His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, and the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Like Thomas Campbell said, To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die. Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju would forever be remembered for his good works, not only in the church but to humanity in general.”

Most Superior Evangelist M.O Ajao informed the family that His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, is not in the country presently but would wish to be carried along concerning the burial arrangements for the departed Celestial icon. He prayed that such a sad and sudden tragedy would never occur again, and that God would forgive the sins of the departed and grant him eternal peace.

He concluded by declaring that the Lord would also console the family and loved ones of the deceased, and grant them the fortitude to bear this painful loss. Amen.
