C.C.C. PASTOR IN COUNCIL BEGINS 2025 WITH THE THROTTLE PRESSED TO THE FLOOR PANEL!

The highest policy making body of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, the Pastor in Council, C.C.C. Worldwide, began the year 2025, with the throttle pressed to the floor panel.

The body, presided over by His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C. Worldwide, took vital and far-reaching decisions at her first meeting of the year, held on Saturday, 1st February, 2025. Venue was the Celestial Church of Christ, Saint S.B.J Oshoffa Cathedral, International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos.

Looking inwards, the Council frowned at the low attendance recorded at Council meetings and therefore resolved that forthwith, members that do not attend meetings would be removed from the Council’s WhatsApp platform and other information distribution channels of the Council.

Also, the Council Secretariat would no longer accept messages of apologies for non attendance from Council members. Members who wish to present apology for absenteeism must henceforth convey their apologies to the entire Council, virtually or through phone calls, on meeting days.

Furthermore, the Secretariat was mandated to review the financial records of all Council members and set a deadline for defaulting members to fulfill all outstanding financial obligations. Failure to do so on the day set as deadline, such defaulting members would also be removed from the Council’s WhatsApp Platform and all other information distribution channels of the Council.

The Council however received commendations for the remarkable progress made in the Imeko City Development Project, powered by the Pastor in Council Works and Projects Committee. The P.I.C. was also applauded for breathing life into the International Conference Centre, Imeko, Ogun State. A project that has reached 75% completion after the intervention of the Council.

The Secretariat of the P.I.C. announced that, at the last count, personal contributions from Pastor in Council members towards the completion of the International Conference Centre Complex, Imeko, labelled as P.I.C. LEGACY PROJECT, totalled N30,000,000 (Thirty Million Nara), while His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, donated the sum of N20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira) towards the realisation of the dream to complete the project.

So far, the P.I.C. has expended N50,000,000 (Fifty Million Naira) on the dream to complete the International Conference Centre, Imeko. Before drawing the final curtain on the meeting, the body reiterated her determination to complete the P.I.C. LEGACY PROJECT in the first half of the year 2025.

To this end, the Council resolved that each member of the Council MUST make an additional contribution of a minimum of N250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira). This is in addition to the N250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) contributed by each member of the Council in the outgone year (2024).

Commendations also came from the Board of Trustees, C.C.C. Worldwide, as they assured that they would throw their weight behind the Pastor in Council Works and Projects Committee, to ensure that the Imeko City Development Project makes appreciable progress in the year 2025.

The meeting ended with members more determined than ever before, to meet and even surpass set targets for 2025.
