ORISUN IYE CATHEDRAL SET FOR 3RD ADULT HARVEST THANKSGIVING, DECLARES ‘Al FATTAH, OPEN HEAVEN’

TWO-DAY SPIRITUAL CELEBRATION HOLDS DECEMBER 18 AND 20 IN IBADAN

It is time to exercise unwavering faith, celebrate God’s faithfulness and unlock the windows of heaven in an atmosphere of praise, thanksgiving and abundant blessings!

The Celestial Church of Christ, Orisun Iye Cathedral, located at Kola-Olaiya Street, Abanla Ologun Eru, Eleyele, Ibadan, is set to host its 3rd Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service, with a compelling theme: “Al FATTAH (OPEN HEAVEN).”

The two-day spiritual celebration, scheduled for December 18 and 20, 2026, promises to be a memorable gathering of worship, praise, thanksgiving and spiritual rejuvenation as members, friends, families and well-wishers assemble to appreciate God for His abundant mercies, protection, provision and faithfulness.

The theme, Al Fattah (Open Heaven), calls believers to cultivate outstanding, unwavering faith in God, trusting Him for divine intervention, supernatural provision and unprecedented breakthroughs. It is an invitation to approach God with confidence, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

As Hebrews 11:1 declares: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

MUSICAL NIGHT – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2026

The celebration will commence with a special Musical Night on Friday, December 18, featuring an atmosphere of soul-lifting music, melodious praises and heartfelt worship. It will be an opportunity for worshippers to express their gratitude to God through songs, music and joyful celebration.

ADULT HARVEST THANKSGIVING – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2026

The grand finale will take place on Sunday, December 20, with the 3rd Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service. It will be a glorious occasion for worshippers to bring their harvest offerings before God in appreciation of His goodness and unfailing love.

The service draws inspiration from Psalm 65:11: “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”

Similarly, 2 Corinthians 9:7 reminds believers that God loves a cheerful giver, while verse 8 assures that God is able to make all grace abound towards His people.

The congregation is therefore encouraged to come with grateful hearts, generous offerings and unwavering faith in the God who provides abundantly.

The celebration will be hosted by Venerable Superior Evangelist Dr. Kolawole and Mother Celestial Prophetess Bolanle Kolawole, who warmly invite members of the Celestial fold, friends of the Cathedral and the general public to join in this special celebration of God’s goodness.
