City of Brampton Honours Rev. E.M.F. Oshoffa During Canadian Pastoral Visit

BRAMPTON, CANADA – The City of Brampton has honoured the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa, with a Certificate of Recognition during his ongoing pastoral visit to Canada.

The recognition was presented to Reverend Oshoffa in appreciation of his spiritual leadership, service and contributions to the community during his visit to the Canadian city.

The presentation formed part of Reverend Oshoffa’s 2026 pastoral working tour of Canada, during which he has been meeting with members of the Celestial Church of Christ, engaging with church leadership and participating in various spiritual and pastoral activities. His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa arrived in Canada on September 18, 2026, accompanied by his wife, Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa, and members of his pastoral delegation.

The Brampton recognition was received with gratitude by the church leadership and members of the Celestial fold, who described the honour as a significant acknowledgement of Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa’s leadership and the growing presence and contribution of the Celestial Church of Christ in Canada.

The occasion also provided an opportunity to strengthen relations between the church and the wider Brampton community, while highlighting the role of faith-based leadership in promoting service, fellowship and community development.

Present at the presentation ceremony were MC Celine Oshoffa, AMSE Rufus Adeoba (Head of Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w), Most Snr Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa (P.A to the Pastor), amongst other dignitaries.

Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa’s Canadian visit continues as part of his wider pastoral engagement with the Celestial Church of Christ community across the diaspora.
