LATE AMSE OLAITAN ADEREMI BALOGUN: Let’s All Join Hands to Honour his Last Request!

The sudden announcement of the passing of our Head of Diocese, AMSE Olaitan Aderemi Balogun on Wednesday 2nd September 2026, sent shock waves across the Diocese and Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

As the first Head of the USA National Diocese who put his life on the line and died as a true soldier of Christ in the Celestial Church of Christ, he deserves a befitting burial.

This is his season to be buried as Solomon, in his wisdom, reminded us that there is a time to be born and a time to die. Collectively, we are resolved to say a final goodbye in a way that befits his status.

It was the wish of our late Head of Diocese to be buried here in the United States of America. We have to get his body back to the United States and make proper arrangements for his funeral. Arrangements are in top gear to repartriate his body back to America as soon as possible.

This is a difficult time for the Diocese, especially for the wife and son he left behind. Let us continue to remember his family in our prayers and support them as much as we can.May God continue to give them the fortitude to bear his loss.We shall all live to fulfill our days and purpose on earth in Jesus’ mighty name.
