Dear Brethren,
CONDOLENCE LETTER
With deep sorrow and total submission to the will of Almighty God, we received with shock the news of the transition to glory of our beloved father, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Olaitan Balogun, who passed away on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026, at the age of 64. Until his death, he served with unwavering dedication as the Head of Diocese, USA National Diocese, Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
AMSE Olaitan Balogun was a pillar of faith, a distinguished leader, and a dedicated shepherd who devoted his life to the service of God and the advancement of the Lord’s vineyard. His visionary leadership, profound humility, and selfless service left an indelible mark on the USA National Diocese and the entire Celestial Church of Christ across the globe.
Though his earthly presence will be deeply missed, we find solace in the assurance that he fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). His legacy of devotion, spiritual guidance, and commitment to the body of Christ will continue to inspire generations to come.
On behalf of the Chairman, Executives, and the entire officers of the C.C.C Worldwide Task Force Corps, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Celestial Church of Christ, USA National Diocese, the bereaved family, and all members of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
We pray that the Almighty God, the Great Comforter, grants the family and the Church the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and grants our dearly departed father eternal rest in His heavenly kingdom.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
