VSE ADETORO SODIMU BECOMES HEAD OF IRELAND DIOCESE OF THE CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST

The Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, has appointed Venerable Superior Evangelist Adetoro Sodimu as the Head of Ireland Diocese, C.C.C Worldwide.
The announcement was made this afternoon at a virtual meeting with major stakeholders of the Diocese, including the outgoing Head of Ireland Diocese, AMSE Michael Tunde Afolalu.

This change of leadership baton in the Ireland Diocese comes after the outgoing Head of Ireland Diocese, AMSE Tunde Afolalu, had spent thirteen years in the saddle. Sodimu’s appointment is for a five year tenure.
The new Head of Ireland Diocese, Venerable Superior Evangelist Adetoro Sodimu was the Secretary of the Council of Honourary Evangelists (UK Diocese) between 1994-1998.
He also served as Personal Secretary to late Reverend P.H Ajose between 199-2001, after which he was transferred to C.C.C Santa Maria Parish, Republic of Ireland on the 13th May, 2001, after the transition of late Reverend P.H Ajose.

Addressing the virtual meeting after the appointment was announced, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa commended the Diocese of Ireland for the peaceful nature of the Diocese. He encouraged the outgoing Head of Diocese to work in peace and harmony with the new appointee. The new Head of Diocese was also directed to submit a blueprint for the growth and progress of the Ireland Diocese as a matter of urgency.
