E.M.F. ISSUES CLEAR- CUT DIRECTIVES TO C.C.C. CANADA DIOCESE … Summons Major Stakeholders to a Critical Meeting in Nigeria!

The Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, has issued clear-cut directives to the leadership of the Canada Diocese of the fold.

This is coming on the heels of disagreements between the Head of Canada Diocese, VSE Rufus Adeoba, and major players in the Diocese, notably VSE Kunle Lawal, VSE Michael Bakare and VSE Jide Salako, amongst others.

The pastoral directives are contained in a memo with reference number CCC/EMF/PO-RA/CAN-015/11-25, dated 11th December 2025, and addressed to the Head of Canada Diocese, VSE Rufus Adeoba.

The memo is reproduced below:

STAY OF FURTHER ACTION AND INVITATION TO A MEETING WITH HIS EMINENCE, REVEREND E.M.F OSHOFFA.

I am compelled by recent disturbing developments in the Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w, to issue the following directives which must be fully complied with by all concerned parties and stakeholders in the Canada Diocese of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

1. All further actions concerning the sale of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ayo Mother Parish building, Canada / The appointment of a new Shepherd for Ayo Mother Parish, Canada are to remain on HOLD for now.
2. There must be no further issuance of press releases / statements in the media on the contentious issues concerning the Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w, for now.
3. All earlier letters issued in November 2025, from the Office of the Pastor/Spiritual Head, concerning the issues at stake in Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w, are hereby WITHDRAWN.
4. The following stakeholders of the Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w, are hereby invited to a very important meeting with the Pastor and Spiritual Head, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, in Nigeria on Friday, 23rd January, 2026.

They are:

1. VSE Rufus Adeoba (HoD Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w).
2. VSE Kunle Lawal.
3. VSE Michael Bakare.
4. VSE Henry Onah.
5. VSE Shina Osunmakinwa.
6. AVSE Bisi Awolope.
7. VSE Joseph Ojegele.
8. VSE Charles Njie.
9. VSE Jide Salako.

These directives are issued for the peace and progress of the Canada Diocese, C.C.C Worldwide.

Let it also be known that any attempt to continue issuing press statements in the media on the contentious issues, or to drag the leadership of the church into litigation over the same issues in the Canada Diocese, C.C.C W/w, would attract the ire of the apex authority of the church.

Therefore, let all actions on the highlighted issues be put on HOLD until the meeting with His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, on Friday, 23rd January, 2026, in Nigeria

ADDENDUM: All stakeholders invited to the meeting with His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, on Friday, 23rd January, 2026, in Nigeria, are to attend the meeting with proof of their clergy registration/number and a copy of their Venerable Superior Evangelist (VSE) Anointment Certificate.

For the avoidance of any ambiguity, the status quo in the Canada Diocese, C.C.C Worldwide, remains until further directives are issued after the meeting with His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa on Friday, 23rd January, 2026, in Nigeria.

The 2 Regions, East and West, remain. C.C.C Ayo Mother Parish remains the Archdiocese under VSE Kunle Lawal until further directives are issued.
