LATE VSE J.A. OGUNMEFUN’S FAMILY RECEIVES HIS ‘DEATH CLAIM’ FROM INSURANCE COMPANY … Visit E.M.F. to show gratitude

Late VSE John Adeleke Ogunmefun

The family of a departed Clergy and Shepherd of the Celestial Church of Christ, late Venerable Superior Evangelist John Adeleke Ogunmefun, have received his ‘Death Claim’ from the insurance company he subscribed to in the Group Life Insurance Scheme, widely advertised and coordinated by the Clergy Welfare Committee, C.C.C W/w, under the watch of AMSE J.O. Olabode.

The Leadway Assurance Company Limited paid the sum of N1,700, 000 (one million seven hundred thousand naira) to the named beneficiary, who is a son of the deceased clergy, in person of Mr Emmanuel Ogunmefun, barely one month after the deceased was buried.

In a letter to C.C.C. Media, the Clergy Welfare Committee, C.C.C. W/w stated, “You will recall that one of our Shepherds, Venerable Superior Evangelist John Adeleke Ogunmefun, who was insured in the Group Life Insurance Scheme, died and was buried last month. His ‘Death Claim’ was pursued by the Clergy Welfare Committee, C.C.C. W/w, and the Insurance company has made payment to the named beneficiary, Mr Emmanuel Ogunmefun, the deceased son.

We are therefore directed by our Chairman, AMSE J.O. Olabode Mpic to request that you assist in relaying this development to all C.C.C. Clergy and Church Workers accordingly. This, we believe, will assure them that payment of claims is real, should death occur.”

To show their gratitude, the family of the deceased Clergy visited the pastoral residence in Lagos to express their gratitude to His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa.
