Harvest Thanksgiving

PRAYERS AND 2025 JUVENILE HARVEST MESSAGE FROM E.M.F. WITH LOVE!

The harvest season is a time to show gratitude to God, engage in reflection and take stock of the abundance that the Almighty has blessed us with.

It is indeed a season that is meant to remind us of the faithfulness of God in our lives and hammer into our consciousness the importance of sowing the seeds of righteousness in our existence. As far as the Bible is concerned, harvest is not just an agricultural event but a symbol of our spiritual growth and the blessings of God.

E.M.F.

As we celebrate this year’s Juvenile Harvest today, Sunday 1st June, 2025, I send these seven powerful Bible verses to you, to ponder and reflect on. They highlight the significance and meaning of the season:

John 4:35 “Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest?’ I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”

James 3:18 “Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”

2 Corinthians 9:10“Now who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

Proverbs 10:5 – “He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.”

Psalm 126: 5-6: “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.”

Matthew 9: 37-38“Then he said to his disciples. ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, to send out workers into His harvest field.”

Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

As we celebrate this year’s Juvenile Harvest and reflect on these Bible verses, may the Lord continue to protect guide and imbue our children with knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

May our joy over these children not turn to sorrow. Truly, in due season, we shall reap a bountiful harvest in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Do have a wonderful, spirit filled and memorable celebration.
